There’s been a development recently that affects mostly MAC users and it has to do with the compatibility of Adobe Flash player with browsers.
It might affect your first experience of Mindlogr as it will render your camera or microphone inoperable.
When you get to the recording screens, and you try to enable your webcam you will get presented with the Adobe Privacy settings. However it might not allow you to close the box once it is opened, and the selectors seem to be disabled.
Adobe are aware of this bug and are working on it, but in the meantime here is a solution to get Minglogr working with your MAC webcam.
1. Open System Preferences (from the Apple Doc)
2. Click Flash Player
3. Click ‘Camera and Mic’ tab
4. Click ‘Camera and Microphone Settings by Site…’
5. Click ‘+’ to add a site.
6. Enter the Website Domain www.mindlogr.com
7. Choose ‘Allow’ from the drop-down menu
8. Click ‘Add’
9. Click ‘Close’
It is also a good idea to run the latest version of Flash which you can get here: http://www.adobe.com/go/
Unfortunately this is a bug with Adobe, so it’s not something we can fix. Let’s hope they sort it out quickly.
